Classes
The HypnoBirthing course is designed for you and your birth partner, so that you can prepare together for a relaxed and joyful birth. Many couples say that this preparation and then the actual birth experience itself brings them closer than they had thought possible. I teach HypnoBirthing to group classes (see below) or you may prefer a private course.
What you will learn
- Deep relaxation techniques and visualisations
- A series of breathing techniques to help your body work more efficiently and prevent exhaustion
- How to release endorphins within your body
- Massage techniques to reduce the chance of tearing
- How to create an atmosphere of tranquillity for your birth
- You will be able to work through fears you may have about the coming birth as well as addressing any issues form previous birth experiences
Course Format
The course is made up of 4 weekly classes, usually on a weekday evening or weekend morning. Included in the cost of the course are all of the additional resources that you will need including the official HypnoBirthing book and the Rainbow Relaxation CD.
